This Privacy Policy explains how Outfint ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
From third-party sign-in providers
When you sign in using Facebook, Google, or Apple, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile photo (if available)
This information is provided by the sign-in service you choose and cannot be changed inside the App. If you want to update or delete this information, you will need to do so through your chosen sign-in provider.
Information you add while using the App
- Wardrobe or outfit data you upload (including photos).
- Any messages or content you send us through the in-app contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Device information (model, operating system, unique device IDs).
- Device identifiers such as the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS or advertising IDs on Android (used by AdMob and analytics tools).
- App usage data (features used, actions taken, time spent).
- Approximate location (if you allow location access in settings).
Advertising and Analytics Data
- Ad services (e.g., Google AdMob): may collect data about ad impressions, interactions, and anonymized device identifiers to display and measure ads.
- Consent and preferences: we record your ad consent choice (personalized vs non-personalized) provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) and your iOS tracking permission (via App Tracking Transparency – ATT). These choices determine how ads are personalized and can be changed anytime in the App under Settings → Privacy Options or in your device’s system settings.
Any data collected through third-party services is processed according to their own privacy policies and applicable regulations (such as GDPR and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the App.
- Personalise outfit planning and app features.
- Communicate with you about updates, support, and changes.
- Show relevant ads and measure their effectiveness.
- Keep the App secure and prevent misuse.
If you choose to allow tracking on iOS devices, we may use your device’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) to deliver more relevant ads and measure ad performance. This permission is managed through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, and you can change it anytime in your device’s settings.
Within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, we ask for advertising consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). This determines whether ads shown to you are personalized or non-personalized. You can review or revoke this consent anytime in the App under Profile → Ad Privacy Options.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only:
- With service providers who help us run the App (e.g., hosting, analytics).
- If required by law or legal process.
- If necessary to protect our rights, safety, or other users.
4. Advertising & Analytics
We use third-party services (such as Google AdMob and analytics tools) that collect data to help deliver ads or measure performance. These services may use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
Advertising Consent and Tracking
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): In regions subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we use UMP to request your consent for personalized advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by visiting Profile → Ad Privacy Options in the App.
- Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS devices, we may request permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites using the IDFA. Granting this permission allows us and our partners (such as Google AdMob) to provide more relevant ads and to measure advertising performance. If you do not grant permission, we will display non-personalized ads based solely on contextual information (for example, the app’s content, rather than your behavior).
Analytics
We may also use analytics tools to better understand user behavior, troubleshoot issues, and improve features. Any data collected through analytics is used in aggregate and does not directly identify individual users.
Your Choices
You can manage your advertising preferences at any time:
- In the App: Go to Profile → Ad Privacy Options to change your ad consent preferences.
- On iOS device: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to modify your tracking permissions.
Even if you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see ads that are less relevant to you but are based on general context (such as the app category or current content displayed).
5. Your Rights
Data Protection Rights
Under UK and EU data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time (this may affect your use of some features).
- Object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

Facebook Data Deletion Instructions
If you signed in to our App using Facebook and wish to delete any data retrieved from your Facebook account (such as your name, email address, or profile photo), please send a request to contact@outfint.com with the subject line "Facebook Data Deletion Request." We will remove your Facebook-related data from our systems within 30 days of receiving your request. You can also delete your app account directly from within the app's Profile → Delete Account link.
6. Data Storage & Retention
We store your data securely and only for as long as needed to provide the App or as required by law. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable time.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we will let you know through the App or another method.
